Katie Wilson provides forensic-informed clinical consultation and mental health analysis in civil litigation matters involving psychological injury, emotional distress, trauma exposure, and adverse life events. She has over 20 years of clinical experience across outpatient, inpatient psychiatric, residential, and court-involved treatment settings, with extensive work in trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, attachment disruption, and complex psychological presentations.
Her work integrates doctoral-level research in trauma recovery, resilience, posttraumatic growth, and human flourishing, with practical clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Katie Kimmel Wilson is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), researcher, and educator with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Her career spans both clinical practice and higher education, blending therapeutic expertise with academic scholarship and teaching. She holds a PhD in education from the University of Idaho in addition to a masters degree in counseling psycholgy from Gonzaga. Her research explores the transformative potential of adversity through the lens of posttraumatic growth and human flourishing.
Clinically, Ms. Wilson specializes in trauma recovery, grief and loss, depression and anxiety. She is also an affirming therapist for LGBTQ+ clients. Her approach is integrative and evidence-based, utilizing modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and attachment-based practices. She is committed to helping clients not only heal, but to grow from personal trauma.
